The 75th annual Meeker Days celebration is taking place in Puyallup for three days this June, acting as a fundraising event for the Puyallup Main Street Association.
This family friendly event will have something to appeal to every member of the family. There will be a farmers' market, a classic car show and competition, a marketplace, and beer and wine gardens. There are set to be plenty of activities for children in the Kid Zone, such as Mother Goose's Farmyard Fun and a trout pond where kids can fish for $3.
Other activities include the Dog Lounge, where people can take their canines to have some fun and treats. The Lil' Miss Meeker pageant and the Battle of the Bands are other attractions on offer.
A major fundraising event of the festival will be the Solstice Market Supper at Pioneer Park on June 21. Guests will pay $75 for dinner and live entertainment.
The marketplace is expected to feature over 200 vendors selling arts and crafts and commercial products. Farmers’ Row will feature fresh food for purchase, and local non-profit organizations will also be on hand to inform the public about their programs and services.
Vendors who wish to get more attention for their booths may decide to contact Puyallup printing services companies for help. This could include having a colorful sign or banner printed, which would be hung over a table or placed in a booth.
Meeker Days will be held from June 20 to 22 in downtown Puyallup. To find out more about the events, call 253-840-2631.
