MayFest will be held at Lakewold Gardens for 10 days this May.
Over the course of the event, there will be a variety of different events, exhibits and performances taking place. This will include harp and woodwind music, historical displays in Wagner House, and a book signing by Donald Olsen.
The NW Stone Sculptors Association will be exhibiting some of its works throughout the gardens. Groups such as Ikebana International and the Lakewood Arts Commission will be hosting displays, as will wood turners Roy and Stephany Lane. Also among the draws will be a demonstration and display by stonecutter Keith Phillips.
During the last three days of the festival is when the Lakewold Volunteer Jewelry Sale will take place, in time for Mother's Day. Sonsie Chocolatier will also be selling chocolate treats during that weekend.
Visitors from all over the area, including Puyallup, will likely want to visit the festival for at least one day. Organizers may invest in flyer printing services to ensure that as many people as possible know about this event.
MayFest will be held at Lakewold Gardens in Lakewood from May 1 to 10 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. Admission is $9 for adults and $5 for seniors, students, and military personnel. On May 4, there will be ‘two for one’ admission for those in the military. Call Susan Steen at 253-584-4106 x108 for more information.
