The 2nd annual Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival is taking place next month for three days.
Presented by the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance and the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor, a portion of proceeds from the event will benefit local community projects.
The festival consists of three separate parts, of which The Sip and Stroll is the first. It will take place on July 21 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Harbor History Museum. It is for those aged 21 and over and tickets are $30 each. Guests will enjoy wine, beer, spirits, and food sample at several galleries and stores in the downtown area.
On the next day, three winemakers’ dinners will be held at area restaurants. Guests will be able to have dinners prepared by top chefs like Doug Long and Roy Breiman. Participating restaurants are the JW Restaurant, Morris’ Netshed, and Morso.
The final event is the grand tasting on July 28 from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm and is also for those aged 21 and over. Tickets are $80 and guests will be served food and drink from over 50 area restaurants, breweries, and wineries. There will also be cooking demonstrations during the afternoon.
