An event planned with both lapidarists (stone and gemstone workers) and jewelry makers in mind has been scheduled for Puyallup, and it will be open to the public for three days in November.
The Gem Faire will be bringing a wide assortment of gems, jewelry supplies, and other materials to the pavilion at Washington State Fair. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door, costing $7 for the full weekend.
The event will have at least 70 are on the roster. There will be items ranging from gems to fine jewelry, and both precious and semi-precious stones will be available for purchase. Many of them will be on offer at the manufacturer’s set price. Anyone who requires jewelry cleaning, repair, or ring sizing can have these services performed on site. The Puyallup Valley Gem and Mineral Club will have exhibits set up, and ticketholders can browse, ask questions, and meet other local makers.
Small businesses are often on the hunt for marketing ideas that offer a high return on investment, and an expo may provide this sort of opportunity. Business Cards make it easy to quickly share contact details, and can be prepared by a business card printing company.
Puyallup is set to welcome the Gem Faire, running from November 8 to November 10. Its website can be consulted for the latest updates about the expo.
