The 2014 Economic Forecast and Rising Star Awards breakfast is taking place this January in Puyallup.
The event is hosted by the Puyallup Sumner Chamber of Commerce. Guests will find out how the past year in business has gone and be given insight into what to expect in 2015. In addition to breakfast, the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) will be giving awards to military men and women and presenting the Rising Star Awards.
There are several Rising Star Awards to be handed out, including the John Porter Memorial Award, Small Business of the Year, Young Professionals (both individual and organization), and Best Company to Work For. The event is expected to attract approximately 250 business leaders from the area.
This annual breakfast is an important networking event for business leaders in Puyallup and Sumner. Many attending will likely be placing new business card printing orders to make sure that their contact information is current and correct.
The Economic Forecast and Rising Star Awards breakfast is being held at Pioneer Pavilion on January 22, beginning at 7:30 AM. Tickets are $30 in advance for chamber members, $35 for nonmembers, and $40 at the door for everyone. Large parties thinking of attending should note that tables of eight are available for $225.
