Tonight’s ‘Eating Mindfully’ event is about understanding how a healthy relationship can exist between food and the body. During this session, there will be exploration on how healthy eating affects our lifestyles and how and when our eating habits were established, as well as how they were learned.
Lorrie Jones, a certified Washington State Counselor who has a BS in Nursing and certification in all levels of Yoga and Mat Pilates, will be guiding this seminar that will examine how to create eating habits that are mindful and studying why we eat certain foods, as well as providing some incentives and guidelines to assist with weight reductions and keeping the pounds off for life.
A surprising personal story will be shared with all, so guests should come prepared to be understood, accepted, and nourished by the information provided. Aimed towards teens and adults, this lecture should be ideal for anyone who wishes to learn more about how healthy eating can affect their body and mental health.
Flyer printing and poster printing may have been used to promote this healthy event to the community and other local regions. Admission to this session is free and there is also free parking available.
