Olympia workshop to prepare selection of savory treats

Charcuterie boards have become a trend, and an Olympia class will be preparing these edible arrangements by hand.

Only Grazers has reserved an April afternoon for its Easter Charcuterie Workshop, where no previous experience is needed to enjoy the experience. While they work, the attendees can sip on a glass of wine or other beverage, and there are two start times available with tickets priced at $90.

Everyone who takes part will be able to choose their selections of meats, cheeses, and other items to include in their edible arrangement. The palm leaf-style charcuterie board is also included in the ticket price, and live instruction is on the agenda. Both sweet and savory snacks will be passed as well. A door prize draw will take place before the learners head for home.

To help make it easier for the participants to prepare one of these selections of light bites for their next soiree, everyone will go home with printed tip sheets and also a shopping list. Class handouts can be prepared for any function by local Stationery printers.

This introduction to the art of preparing a tempting charcuterie arrangement will be on offer on Saturday, April 8 at 625 Black Lake Boulevard in Southwest Olympia,. Both 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm start times are available, and tickets may be purchased via Eventbrite.
