While many enjoy variations of black and green teas, there is no shortage of options out there for alternatives to these classics, and an Olympia class will demonstrate how to brew them.
The WET Science Center has planned a Native Plant Tea Party, and it will explore the possibilities available when it comes to using plants that are found locally. The session will run for four hours in total, and all are welcome to attend.
Those who include the event in their plans will be able to sample a wide assortment of teas made from plants that are native to the area. While attendees sip, they can learn about the history and traditions of certain teas, and everyone will have the opportunity to make crafts to take home with them.
There will be displays to explore, and once finished, guests can visit the rest of the venue and its exhibits.
