An activity that will destroy sensitive documents and other materials will soon be offered to Olympia households and businesses alike.
One of LeMay Mobile Shredding’s trucks will be rolling into Windermere for a three-hour “shredding party.” A variety of materials can be dropped off, and there will be no fee to take advantage of this offer to shore up their data privacy and security.
The organizer of this special event explained that it may be helpful to those who only have a small number of documents to dispose of, and everyone is welcome to bring up to three grocery Bags or small size Boxes of items for shredding. They can drop their materials off at the truck, which will be parked at 2312 Pacific Avenue South East, and the shredding will be up and running throughout the late morning and early afternoon.
The company hosting this activity explained that it can be a novel way for an organization to raise money, or a business to thank its customers for their patronage. A large sign can be posted to let the public know it is taking place - such items can be ordered from an area banner printing company.
LeMay Mobile Shredding will be accepting items for disposal on April 17 starting 11:00 am. Additional information for the general public is available on its website.
