Olympia prepping for garden club convention

Olympia and the communities that surround it are home to some of the state’s most beautiful gardens. A visit to several of these has been included in the agenda for the upcoming conference of garden clubs that will soon be taking place in the city.

The garden clubs that make up The Black Hill District will be hosting the 2019 convention of the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs. Its organizers noted that it is a highly anticipated event, and its agenda is filled with activities for all the delegates to enjoy.

During the symposium, the club will conduct its business, but there will be lots more going on as well. There will be an assortment of workshops and also garden tours, and the participants will even be able to get some dirt under their nails when they take part in the hands-on activities that have been planned.

An event like this can be a great opportunity for green thumbs to renew old friendships, and the convention’s ‘Forty Shades of Green’ arch will be in place to use as a photo backdrop. Oversized items like this can easily be produced by local Print shops that offer wide format printing services.

This year’s Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs convention has been scheduled for June 3 to 5. It will be taking place in the Hotel RL Olympia.
