Concern for Animals (CFA) is prepping for its annual plant sale, and this celebration will give area home horticulturalists plenty to talk about.
The pop-up market will be making its return to Olympia, and for the safety of the shoppers, everyone is asked to observe social distancing measures. It will be held for one day only, hosted at the CFA offices here in Olympia.
People who drop by the market will be able to purchase some new additions for their garden, and the vendor tables will be spread out across the property. Some companies, not-for-profits and individuals to have added their name to the list of participants already include Underhill Plants, Gallery Boom!, and Master Gardener Judy C., and everyone who attends the function will be able to learn about which plants are best suited to their particular growing conditions. They will even be invited to shop from a display of paper flowers.
Pop-up markets offer a way for a charitable organization to raise money, and their success often depends on how well they are marketed. A poster printing company will be pleased to help.
The annual spring CFA Spring Plant and Gift sale will be kicking off another gardening season on Saturday, May 7, starting at 9:00 am. The location for the activity will be 1414 State Avenue North East.
