The arrival of spring marks the start of the festival season in many communities, and a celebration planned for Olympia will welcome one and all.
Lacey Parks, Culture and Recreation recently announced that the date has been set for the Lacey Spring Fun Fair at St. Martin’s University. It will be running for two days, and most of the activities will be free of charge
Along with carnival-style rides and attractions, families can visit the Kids World area where there will be activities planned with little ones in mind. The S.T.E.A.M. Fair will make learning about science, engineering, math, and technology fun, and there will also be a vendor market and pop-up food service section. Vehicle buffs can show off their pride and joy in the car show, and a sensory-friendly area will be on site for anyone in need of a break from all the excitement. While trained service animals are welcome, it has been asked that pets be left at home.
Community events give neighbors an opportunity to meet and have fun together. Poster printing services for a function will be on offer at a professional Print shop.
