A day planned with Olympia’s visually impaired community in mind will be held for the first time in the city this fall, and this free activity is one for anyone who feels it may be helpful to them.
The inaugural Olympia Vision Fair is a production of the Hope Vision Foundation, and it will be running throughout its scheduled date in mid-September. It will be held at The Olympia Center, and one of its mandates is to empower those who are sight impaired.
During the symposium, the attendees will be able to sit in on various presentations and workshops, and they will explore topics ranging from inclusion to new assistive and adaptive technology on the market. A variety of community resources will be presented as well, and residents of Mason, Thurston, and Lewis counties may all find it helpful to them.
The listing created for the occasion notes that it will be promoted in a variety of ways. This targeted advertising will be used at medical providers, retirement homes, cultural community groups, tribal health coordinators and other venues. A Logo Design may be an important piece of a marketing toolbox for an activity like this.
The first ever Olympia Vision Fair will be kicking off at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 17. Additional information about the experience can be found on the Eventbrite listing.
