A Back to School Backpack Safety Check will be on offer at Capital Mall, and Dr. Marum from Vert Chiropractic will be performing this service. Advance registration is not required, and students of all ages are encouraged to take advantage of this service.
Dr. Marum will ask each pupil to put on their backpack, and he will check to make sure it's worn properly, is the proper size for the individual using it, and also that it's not too heavy. Any athletes in the crowd between the ages of six and eighteen will have an opportunity to receive a spinal screening to make sure they are in shape for the upcoming year.
