Agriculture plays an important role in the economy of Washington state, and one of its Olympia farming operations will be opening its gates for a special springtime event.
Nelson Ranch has released the dates for its annual Calf Tours, which will be a time to meet some of its newest residents. There will be other fun on the agenda as well, including an egg hunt for those aged nine and under.
Those who attend the activity will be driven by hay wagon to the pasture to view the newborn calves. An Easter Egg hunt will be set up for the kids, and they will be searching for the eggs in the woods located at the venue. Parents are reminded to bring baskets or Bags to hold the treasures. Families can take part in the egg hunt, calf viewing, or both.
While the event is being offered at no cost, the family farm has asked attendees to consider purchasing beef on site. They can also place their freezer filling orders. Order Forms, Business Cards, and other materials for an agricultural operation that works directly with the public can be prepared by Stationery printers.
Nelson Ranch has scheduled its 2024 Calf tours for Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, April 13. They both begin at 10:00 am. The egg hunt is also scheduled for the March date.
