Olympia children await themed tea party

Some special guests are on the list for an upcoming Olympia tea party, and while the guests have fun, they will be supporting area programming for those in need.

The Teddy Bear Tea Party in the works will have a winter holiday theme. Santa and Mrs. Claus are on the guest list, and each of the children taking part can bring along their favorite stuffed toy to enjoy the experience with them.

The attendees will be able to meet Santa in person, and there will be musical entertainment as well as crafting tables set up. The kids can help themselves to the snacks provided, and visit the stuffed toy care station. While they are having fun, their parents or can watch the excitement on their faces and take lots of photos.

This function, which is being hosted by the Rotary Club of Olympia Capital Centennial, is being offered thanks to support from a variety of local businesses. There may still be sponsorship opportunities on offer. Perks for organizations who get involved include having their Logo Design seen by a wide audience at the festivities.

This kick-off to the wonder of the winter holiday season for local kids is set to take place on Friday, November 24th. It will open its doors at 2:30pm, and will take place at 1818 4th Avenue in East Olympia.
