Olympias’s Tushita Kadampa Buddhist Center will be hosting an event that honors all mothers, and this special occasion is open to any member of the public who would like to take part.
The facility’s World Peace Café will be the site for this gathering of families, and a vegan breakfast will be served by volunteers. The meal will be home-cooked, and include an assortment of dishes.
Guests will be invited to enjoy an acai bowl, which includes fruit, honey and granola. Chia pancakes topped with chocolate ganache and whipped coconut cream, sourdough toast with mushrooms, tomatoes and cashew pesto cream, vegan bacon, spicy Mexican beans and tofu scramble will all be on the menu. These will be accompanied by juice, coffee, herbal tea, and homemade chai. Those who come out will be welcome to relax in the peaceful atmosphere, and there is no charge to participate.
The planners of this occasion noted that, as it is popular, anyone who is interested should sign up early to reserve their space. Banner printing can be used by a printer to craft signage that salutes all the mothers who come to this type of function.
The Mother’s Day Brunch will be held on May 13th at 211 Legion Way Southwest in Olympia. All are welcome, and more information can be found on its Facebook listing.
