Olympia’s motorcycle enthusiasts are asked to put their kickstands up and hit the road to help make the holiday season brighter for local kids.
The Olympia Toy Run, which will depart from the South Sound Center, will see riders donate either money or a new, unwrapped toy. These will be passed along to area not-for-profit groups, and there will also be a fundraising raffle.
The route the riders will follow will leave the muster point at the South Sound Center, and from there they will continue along Pacific before merging on to State. Next, they will move on to Capitol Way and 5th Avenue before they make their way to the Deschutes Parkway and the parking area at Marathon Park. To help make the day even more fun, there will be live entertainment both before and after the run, and all street-legal bikes and motorcycles are welcome.
Such events often hope to raise awareness as well as funds, and printers can lend a hand. They can offer banner printing and other marketing services, and they can create a wide selection of customized Promotional Products to distribute as a souvenir of the day.
The Olympia Toy Run will be hitting the road on December 5. The gates of the pre-run festivities, which will be held at the departure point, will begin at 10:00 am.
