Olympia area event to show first responders some love

Local first responders serve their community every day of the year, and an Olympia area event will give members of the public a chance to show them some appreciation for all they do.

The Woodland Retirement and Assisted Living facility, which is located in Lacey, will be hosting a special event that will show some love for the first responder community. The public is invited to purchase a hot dog and drink, enter their name in the raffle to win a prize, enjoy the live entertainment, browse through the vendor displays, and have fun with other members of the community.

The monies raised during this casual event will be donated to initiatives that help support local law enforcement, firefighters, and others who help to keep the public safe. A local printer can supply an assortment of small customized Promotional Products that can be given away during events such as this.

This afternoon event, which has been dubbed ‘Hot Dogs for Heroes’, has been planned for this Saturday, July 22 at 4532 Intelco Loop SE in Lacey. There is no charge to take part, and everyone will be welcome to enjoy the fun with other members of their community. More information about the activities that will be taking place can be found on the Thurston Talk website.
