Anyone who has always wanted to give square dancing a try but is unsure how to get started is welcome to attend a free introductory class that will take place soon in Olympia.
Those who attend the free session at Lac-A-Do Square Dance Hall, Inc. will be learning some of the basic moves to see if it is a good fit for them. The function is suitable for any age, and while singles are welcome, the organizers advise to bring a partner if possible.
During the function, participants will be taught the basic moves and how to respond to the caller’s instructions. It will be all about getting active, meeting new people and having lots of fun. This session is free to attend. If guests enjoy themselves and want to continue learning, they will be able to sign up for a 10-week beginners’ class series.
The chance to learn something new is one way to beat the winter blues. A flyer printing company can be called on to prepare marketing materials that let the public know about events happening near them.
