On Thursday, March 29th, 2012 Amy Ray and Her Band will be performing at the Olympia Film Society at the Capitol Theatre located at 206 Fifth Avenue, South, in Olympia, Washington. This doors open at 7:30 and the performance begins at 8:00pm. This performance is called “On the Back Stage”.
Amy Ray and Her Band, the indigo girls, as well as Lindsay Fuller will highlight this musical night. Amy Ray has been delighting audiences now for more than twenty years. With music built around harmony, the snappy melodies are contagious. The audience will find itself humming the tunes long after the performance ends. So far this group has created fourteen studio albums with the most recent being “Beauty Queen Sister”. Four of the bands albums have earned Grammy Awards.
Known for many years for her “Muscular Heart” this solo artist has definitely found her talented and wide ranging voice. This is Amy Ray’s sixth solo album this decade and it is skyrocketing to the top. The audience will enjoy this lively, action packed night. There are to be a few surprises in store for everyone.
