Longview finds bazaar way to help a good cause
The city of Longview is holding several holiday bazaars this December, which will all help to benefit several local charities.
On December 5 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at Cassava's, the Artisan Guild of Mount St. Helens is hosting a sale on handmade arts and crafts; this will also include dog stockings for $2 each. Proceeds from the event will go to the Human Society of Cowlitz County, and donations of dog and cat food and towels will also be accepted. To learn more, visit the guild's Facebook page.
December 6, meanwhile, will offer two different sales. The Annual Hospice Holiday Bazaar, Bake Sale and Silent Auction will take place from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. All money raised will help to support Community Home Health and Hospice. To find out more about this event, call 360-425-8510.
The Handcrafted Holiday Bazaar will be held at the McClelland Center from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm on December 6 as well. While shopping for a variety of items, such as jewelry and decorations, visitors can also take a break at the snack bar. This show benefits Longview Recreation's programs.
