Storytelling comedian coming to Lacey

A Seattle-based comedian who often performs in the wider area is coming to Lacey.

Comedy from Andrew Rivers is both fun and personal, making him a storyteller. His style of performing, as well as his strong work ethic, have gotten him a great deal of appreciation from some of comedy’s most famous names. He regularly opens for Christopher Titus, and has toured Europe and North America with Steve Hofstetter. He appeared with Craig Ferguson on the Joy Podcast, and his online specials have garnered millions of views.

Andrew is the son of Bob Rivers, whose program, “The Bob Rivers Show,” was inducted into the Radio Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2023. The younger Rivers says that if he’s even half as funny as his father, he must be really good.

Ricardo’s will have adult beverages and snacks available. Anyone who wants to have dinner should contact the restaurant and make a reservation. The meal will be served early, at about 5.30 pm, so that the service ends before the show.

Andrew Rivers will be at Ricardo’s in Lacey on October 25, beginning at 7.30 pm. Ricardo's Kitchen + Bar is at 676 Woodland Square Loop Southeast. The show is self-produced, meaning all ticket sales will go to the artist, who expresses his thanks to those who are supporting live comedy. When they plan shows like this, organizers will often contact printers who use flyer printing to create handouts about the performance.
