The warmer weather means it’s time to have fun in Lacey with an upcoming fair.
The Lacey Spring Fun Fair is a two-day event held at St. Martin’s University. Attendees will find various categories of activities to enjoy. They include a S.T.E.A.M. Fair, which allows people to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, ARTS, and Math. The addition of arts to the activity is new this year.
A Kids’ World will comprise more than 40 booths for kids of every age. Entertainment, games, crafts will be available, all free of charge. Rides thus far include a Kids Bounce House, an obstacle course, double slide, the Circus Train, ballistic swings, pony rides, and something new, the Mind Winder Double Spinner.
Fair food is always part of the fun, and there is a wide variety of food vendors scheduled to attend. These include Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee of Central Olympia; hand-crafted burgers from Stacks Burgers; and Siu Mai and steamed buns from the Green Steamer.
Artisan vendors include Pussycat Cupcakes; Martha’s Attic; Uncle Stinky’s Magic & Entertainment; Sabia Tea; the Laughing Wombat, and many more. Commercial vendors, including phone companies and construction experts, will also be attending, and Sunday includes a car show.
The days and hours of the fair are May 17 from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm, and May 18, from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm. For an event this size, organizers might use flyer printing to create a handout for attendees listing the activities and vendors.
