An event is coming up in Lacey for the youngest soccer players in town.
Mighty Kicks Soccer is offering a free practice session for children from ages three through five. Parents who are thinking of enrolling their children in a soccer program are invited to bring their kids to this event to see if they would enjoy working with this organization.
The free soccer session will be only 30 minutes long and will include an introduction to Mighty Kicks followed by a warm-up. Next will be Soccer Drums and a Life Skill of the Day. In addition, there will be three drills and games that are appropriate for very young players. The practice ends with a cheer, and stickers will be given to participants. Organizers of this type of event can use flyer printing to create a handout for attendees, giving them the schedule.
Mighty Kicks Soccer is based in Tacoma and provides a wide range of programs for children, using basic soccer skills to introduce children to sports early in their lives. The discipline required to play will help youngsters learn lifestyle skills that will help them throughout their lives. Their Spring Camps start in April.
The practice session is set for April 6, from 5:30 pm until 6:00 pm. The venue is Nisqually Middle School on Steilacoom Road SE in Lacey. Although the event is free, registration is required.
