Night of comedy planned in Lacey

Two comedians are planning to keep Lacey audiences laughing soon.

Travis Nelson will be performing at Ricardo’s in Lacey, with Teina Manu as his featured guest. Nelson has gathered a following by touring throughout the United States and Canada, visiting cruise ships, colleges, theaters, and comedy clubs, and performing as many gigs as possible.

Dry Bar Comedy released “To Touch a Cloud,” Nelson’s inaugural comedy special, in 2021, and it was viewed more than a half million times. Prior to that, he appeared in numerous comedy festivals, including the 2018 Burbank Comedy Festival, where he was named “Best of the Fest.” That same year, he was named one of the eight top comedians out of a field of 101 at the Main Event of the World Series of Comedy.

Teina Manu has been described as a comedian whose thought-provoking wit will leave audiences either stunned or laughing. Manu, who is from Washington State, is a Marine Corps veteran and was the co-host of “The Teina & Brody Show,” made in Seattle. He is a writer for “Enjoy It” on Comedy Central, hosts BlueCurtainComedy.com, and has appeared at Hollywood’s famous Comedy Store.

There will be snacks and adult beverages for sale at Ricardo’s, and the show is set for April 10. Organizers of performances like these often advertise them with Posters, which they can find at Print shops.
