Magical event awaits in Lacey

An event is coming up in Lacey that promises to be both magical and fun.

Love Local, an organization that creates community events, has planned a party in the woods that will appeal to anyone who loves fantasy. The group held a similar event in 2021, and everyone had so much fun they decided to do it again.

The upcoming Enchanted Fae Festival will be held outdoors in Huntamer Park, where festivalgoers will find creatures such as fairies in the woods. Rumor has it that pirates may also attend, hoping to find the faeries’ treasure.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in costume as their favorite magical character, while they browse the goods offered by local vendors, and enjoy treats from food trucks. A scavenger hunt is planned, and there will be performances by aerialists as well. In addition, wizards are expected to attend. Events like this can be enhanced if organizers work with banner printing to create outdoor decorations.

Live entertainment is also on the schedule, courtesy of Slainte. The group is an Irish rock band that plays both traditional Irish and Scottish music, as well as “rocked up” versions of the same. They play the works of bands like the Cranberries, Van Morrison, and U2.

The fairies will be in the park on September 15, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with Slainte performing from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The event is suitable for everyone, and there is no admission charge.
