What's Happening in Lacey, WA…

A festival celebrating Latinx culture is on the way to Lacey.

The festival is called LatinXPression, and is being organized by the Latinx Student Alliance, an organization that represents the Latinx community on the campus of Saint Martin's University. The event is designed to bring the university community and its Latinx students together to celebrate, educate, and share the amazing cultures of Latin America. It will also help Latinx students learn about their roots and backgrounds.

In addition, the festival will give residents of the larger Thurston County community the chance to learn more about the colorful geography, history, and cultures of Latin America. The event will be open to everyone in the university, the city, and the surrounding area.

Saint Martin's University was founded in 1895, and is located on a beautiful 300-acre campus. The school is a four-year, liberal arts university with a curriculum that promotes creativity; the ability to make ethical judgments; proficiency in academic subjects; independent inquiry; critical thinking; and the ability to pursue and communicate ideas. The institution prides itself on welcoming students from across the country and around the world, leading to a diverse student population.

LatinXPression is set for 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm on February 22, at the Marcus Pavilion at Saint Martin's University, on Pacific Avenue Southeast in Lacey. Poster printing provides an outstanding method for creating colorful advertisements for events like this.
