This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Thurston County, and a special Lacey event will help to kick off the celebrations early next month.
The diners at the Born to be Wild Dinner and Auction will be part of what has been billed as among the largest fundraisers to be held in the county. It will open with a social hour and silent auction.
While they mingle with new friends and catch up with old ones, the guests will be able to snap some pictures in the photo booths, sample a variety of craft beverages, and even get a temporary tattoo. After this, dinner will be served, and live auctions, raffle draws ,and a dessert dash have all been planned. The monies raised during the day will aid in funding community service projects administered by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Thurston County.

The doors for this year's Born to be Wild evening will open at 5:00 pm on Friday, October 1. It will be taking place at the Marcus Pavilion at Saint Martin's University.
