An art event is coming up in Lacey soon.
Artvana is hosting a painting evening at Top Rung Brewing, where people will be able to try their hand at recreating a painting, enjoy brews, and chat with others who have similar interests.
Everyone is welcome, no matter what skill level they have with creating artwork. A coach will be on hand to guide everyone through the process step-by-step as they copy a painting of sunflowers, titled “Sunshine.” The artwork shows two sunflowers, one facing the sky, the other facing directly toward the viewer. The background is a blue sky with fluffy white clouds.
Top Rung will provide a selection of its craft-brewed beer, as well as several wines and non-alcoholic drinks. Attendees will be given a 10% discount on any beverages purchased during class, and although all ages are invited to the event, anyone buying a drink must be 21 years of age or older.
Since there is limited seating, people who would like to attend need to pre-register. If anyone needs to cancel their reservation, they must do so seven days before the evening, when they will be able to transfer to a different event. No-shows will not be transferred or reimbursed.
The painting part is set for Tuesday, June 14 at 6:00 pm. Top Rung is on Hogum Bay Lane Northeast in Lacey. Events like this are perfect places for people to share Business Cards.
