Upcoming lunch to honor innovation from local organizations

The annual Innovation in Issaquah luncheon is taking place this March, presented by the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce and the Issaquah Schools Foundation.

With the deadline for nominations for the awards being 5:00 pm this Thursday, February 26, private sector, nonprofit organizations, and for-profit businesses are eligible and may put themselves forward.

The criteria state that the organization must have been in business for at least a year and ideally be a member of the chamber of commerce. Those that make the finals will have shown leadership in their industry, introduced innovative marketing strategies, created a new niche, or presented a new business concept. The winners are chosen by an independent panel.

The event will also be a networking opportunity for both chamber members and nonmembers to make contact with their business peers and the public. It is likely that a number of those people planning to attend this event will be placing a new business card printing order with their favorite Issaquah Stationery printing company.

The Innovation in Issaquah luncheon will be held at the Tibbetts Creek Manor on March 12, beginning at 1:30 pm. Tickets are $30 for Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce members and $40 for nonmembers. Contact the chamber at 425-392-7024 to find out all about this event and the awards being handed out.
