An upcoming event in Issaquah is pairing two of humanity’s greatest allies – wine and dogs!
Pickles Playland is the organizer of the upcoming “Woof & Wine Class.” Attendees will have a chance to sample various wines, and test their knowledge of both dogs and wines by enjoying a trivia contest, as well as a wine tasting. Organizers describe the event as a classy indoor dog park where attendees can make new friends.
A knowledgeable wine expert will discuss various wines, describing why each is unique, which wineries grew them, and which vintners produced them. This is an opportunity for attendees to learn more about wines in general, and these vintages in particular. In addition, there will be trivia questions about both dogs and wine. Whoever answers the most questions correctly will be able to choose a prize at the end of the evening. All the choices are related to either wine or dogs.
The event provides an opportunity for pet parents to socialize their dogs in a stimulating environment that will also get the pups ready for their adventures outdoors next summer. Organizers of events like this will often use poster printing to promote them.
“Woof & Wine” is scheduled for February 10, from 4.00pm until 6.00pm, at Pickles Playground, located at 95 North Front Street in North Issaquah. People who want to attend do not have to be accompanied by a dog.
