An annual event in Issaquah is set to be something every foodie will enjoy.
The Issaquah Rotary Club is the host of the upcoming Grape Escape, an annual event that will be held in the Pickering Barn, a popular venue for trade shows, weddings, and celebrations of all kinds.
At the Grape Escape, attendees will have a chance to try samples of beverages from local breweries, distilleries, and wineries. Small tasting plates of food will also be available from caterers, restaurants, and food trucks from throughout the Issaquah area. The participating restaurants include WildFin American Grill, Masthi Bar & Grill, and Tutta Bella.
Wineries that will be present include 2205 Wine Company, Sky River Mead, Cave B, and Market Vineyards.
People who prefer spirits can sample products from distilleries including Lodgepole Distilling and Copperworks Distilling. Beer will be available from Big Block Brewing, and desserts will be provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes and Ben & Jerry’s.
The Grape Escape is scheduled for April 23, from 6.00 pm until 9.00 pm. Pickering Barn is located at 1730 10th Ave NW in Issaquah. People may purchase tickets online, after which they will receive a confirmation email that will also serve as their ticket. Members of the Rotary Club will be selling tickets, and they will be available at the event.
When organizers set up events of this size, they often work with flyer printing to create a handout for attendees, including a list of participating vendors.
