Semi-annual consignment event returns to Issaquah

Every autumn and spring, people have a chance to shop for outstanding bargains in Issaquah, and this year will be no different.

Just Between Friends is a gigantic consignment event, where residents of the community offer gently used items for resale. The sale lasts for two days, at the Pickering Barn in Issaquah. Organizers of such events can list vendors and their items by using flyer printing techniques.

The range of items available is so large organizers have had to set guidelines on what they will or will not accept. Consignors are encouraged to bring clothes ranging in size from premature babies to 16 for girls, and up to 20 for boys. Light-weight fabrics are encouraged, and only five pregnancy garments will be accepted. No junior sizes or adult clothing is allowed.

Other acceptable items are shoes, including flip-flops, sandals, and summer shoes. All shoes must be scuff-free and clean. No winter shoes or boots are required at this time.

Organizers are accepting dress-up and special occasion clothing such as outfits for the 4th of July holiday. However, outfits for other holidays including Easter, St. Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween are excluded.

Games and toys in good condition and working are allowed, while anything broken or with missing pieces is excluded. Finally, Books for teens, toddlers, homeschoolers, and learning are suitable, but books aimed at adults, cookbooks, and outdated works are not acceptable.

This huge event takes place March 7 and 8.
