The Salmon Days Festival is taking place in downtown Issaquah for two days this October.
Plenty of special activities are planned for the festival, including a parade, hatchery tours, the Run with the Fishes 5K, and a kids' dash. Proceeds will benefit the Issaquah Rotary Foundation, with fees set at $35 for adults and $10 for the kids’ run.
Musical entertainment will be performed on three stages, and confirmed acts for this year's festival include DogBox, Junkyard Jane, and Michael Murphy. A stage is also being set up for the kids and will feature music, magic, comedy, and juggling acts.
Other attractions will include arts and crafts vendors, food, and a range of merchandise for sale in the Greenbelt Gallery. There will also be entertainment, such as a demonstration by the Issaquah Robotics Society and performances from the Dock Dogs. Official merchandise, including T-Shirts, will be available for purchase.
Many of the people participating in the parade may approach Issaquah banner printing companies to order Banners, which they may want to carry or attach to their floats.
The festival is taking place at various venues in downtown Issaquah from October 4 to 5, running from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm on each day. Admission is free. To learn more about the event and to get updated information, visit the official website.
