Popular Wine & Art event returns to Issaquah

One of the most popular events in Issaquah will be back soon.

The Downtown Issaquah Wine & Art Walk is a unique opportunity for participants to shop, stroll, and sip some of the best wines from the region, served at various businesses, boutiques, and galleries. The walk allows people to do some shopping as they sample the vintages. Participants are asked to bring their own clear wine glasses, but if they forget, the Downtown Issaquah Association will have some plastic glasses available free of charge.

Some of the venues and the wineries they are hosting are the Village Theatre, where Momento Cellars, and Sama Cellars will set up, Trek, which is hosting Wandering Wolf Cellars, and the Vagabond Wine Company, Pelage, which is hosting Argonne Cellars.

Tickets are $35 if purchased early, but go up to $45 if bought on the day of the walk. Tickets include admission, 12 tickets for tasting, and a chance to enjoy a meet and greet with winemakers from the local area. Bottles of wine will be available for purchase tax free during the event.

The Art Walk is scheduled for May 2, from 6.00 pm until 9.00 pm. Participants can check in at either the Historic Shell Station on Front Street North, or The Big Picture on Sunset Way, which is for those who have pre-registered. When they plan this type of event, organizers may work with flyer printing services to create a handout listing the participating wineries and their locations.
