The 36th annual Issaquah Community Awards Banquet is coming up this May. The event is a presentation of the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce.
It will honor community organizations such as Eastside Fire and Rescue, the Rotary Club of Issaquah, and the Department of Parks and Recreation. In addition, the Citizen of the Year and Business Person of the Year awards will be given out.
Someone will be inducted into the business Hall of Fame during the evening. Nominations for the Hall of Fame award are still being accepted until 5:00 pm this Friday, April 24, at the Mayor's Office. Call 425-837-3020 for more information.
Guests will enjoy a plated dinner and a no-host (cash) bar. It will also be a networking opportunity for local business leaders. No doubt there will be plenty of chances before and during dinner to discuss business and to exchange digital Business Cards.
Many of the Issaquah business leaders who plan to attend will be making sure they have a business card printing order ready. This will be to ensure that all of their contact information is correct and up to date.
