Holiday markets brighten up Issaquah

Holiday shoppers in Issaquah have a lot of fun ahead, thanks to upcoming holiday markets.

The historic Pickering Barn is the location of the Christmas Craft & Antique Show. The barn’s Dairy Section will provide space for the more than 75 vendors who are taking part in the event. Over in the hay barn, shoppers will find a selection of unusual antiques.

The Craft Show is the perfect place for people to start their holiday gift-buying expeditions. Vendors here will have gourmet foods, wood crafts, candles, children’s items, pottery, quilts, lotions and soaps, jewelry, holiday décor, and much more.

Those who haven’t found that special gift at the Craft Show have another opportunity to shop at the Merry Holiday Craft Show, which will be held at the Mirrormont Country Club. The event is a boutique show that began early in the 2000s.

The Craft Show features unique items created by local artisans, and because of the nature of the products, is an eagerly anticipated event. Since shoppers enjoy meeting and chatting with the craftspeople who made the products they are buying, the show requires that all the participating artisans be the maker of their products. In addition, they are asked to attend the event.

The Christmas Craft & Antique show is November 2, 3, and 4, while the Merry Holiday Craft Show is November 11, from 9.00am until 4.00pm. Events like this can benefit if organizers use flyer printing to create handouts for attendees, listing the vendors.
