A party that celebrates summer, cars, friends, and family is on the way back to the Issaquah area.
DirtFish Summerfest celebrates the things people love about summer, and even the four-legged friends are included. One of the biggest parts of the event is a raffle, with tickets going for only $1. Every dollar will benefit the charities DirtFish works with, which include Old Dog Haven, Encompass, Conservation Northwest, and Pushing Boundaries. Among the amazing prizes are a chance to ride shotgun in a rally car, or taking a ride over the Snoqualmie Valley in a helicopter.
Food trucks will be on site so people can grab something to eat while they look over the cars. Vendors, partners, and local businesses will be on hand with informative booths, and freebies for everyone.
Organizers are also planning a food drive on behalf of the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank and are asking everyone to bring five items, for which they will receive one raffle ticket. Those who bring more than five will get an extra ticket for each additional item.
Organizers also note that they will be following the COVID-19 guidelines in place at the time of the event. It is also possible for people to buy car rides or helicopter tours by themselves.
DirtFish is set for September 12, from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm on 396th Drive Southeast in Snoqualmie, near Issaquah. Banner printing can be used to create decorations and signage for outdoor events like this.
