Sakura - Con, the Northwest Anime Conference, is taking place over three days in early April.
The event will feature guest appearances from artists, voice actors, filmmakers, and writers in the Japanese genre. Some of those who will be appearing at this year’s show include Max Watanabe, Hidehiro Mitani, Christopher Bevins, Rachel Robinson and David Vincent.
Guests can view premieres of shows such as ‘Yuki Yuna’ and "Etotama", several screenings, and gaming opportunities. Attendees can take part in contests in cosplay, karaoke, and other categories.
Several dances are also taking place and there will be a masquerade ball. Those who want to catch up on the latest publications may visit the manga library. Other activities taking place during the three days, include a charity auction for Make-a-Wish and a blood drive
In addition, vendors representing small presses and artists will be selling their merchandise.
Anime and manga fans from all over King County, including Issaquah, will no doubt be looking forward to attending this show. Postcard printing companies in the area may be asked to help spread the word by providing their products.
