Returning after a one-year absence, the Everett-Lowell Days Promenade is taking place this month for two days. The theme for this year is ‘Strut your Stuff’.
There will be lots of activities taking place that should appeal to the entire family, with a parade, a car show, and a street fair among them. There will be the Bark in the Park pet parade, music from The Shed Players, a photo scavenger hunt, and the chance to meet the mayor. A potluck picnic and hot dogs will keep stomachs satisfied. Visitors are also encouraged to come dressed in period costumes.
Organizers are still looking for street performers, musicians, and vendors to participate. Vendor spaces will be available for rental up until the day of the festival. These are free for nonprofit organizations, and $35 (10 x 10) or $50 (10 x 20) for artisans and food vendors. Vendors must bring their own tables and tents.
Many of the vendors might decide to contact their favorite Everett banner printing company to help bring attention to their booths.
The Everett-Lowell Days Promenade will be held in Lowell Park from August 8 to 9 from 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM each day. Admission is free of charge. For more information about the event or to become a vendor, call 425-238-8657.
