The Washington Wolfpack will be back in action this April, kicking off their second season in the Arena Football One league.
The team plays under a modified version of classic football rules, including a smaller field and eight players on each side, to create a fast-paced indoor game. The Wolfpack participated in AF1’s inaugural season last year after the disbanding of the rebooted Arena Football League, missing the playoffs, and will be looking to improve this year.
This year’s team includes returning quarterback Adam Kruse and new additions like wide receiver Quintavius Workman. The season will kick off with the Wolfpack at home against the newly-founded Oregon Lightning, who they will play multiple times in a season as a designated rival. The team will play a 12-game season, with six taking place in Everett, followed by the AF1 playoffs.
Games will also provide the full pro sports experience, including half-time entertainment, concessions, and merchandise, aiming to provide an affordable family-friendly day out. Upstart sports teams like this often use tools like banner printing and themed games to help invite the community in. Games will be broadcast on Vice TV and streamed on EvergreenNOW.
The Washington Wolfpack will play all 2026 home games at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett. Scheduled home games begin on April 12 and conclude on July 11 against the Minnesota Monsters.
