The Everett NW Neighborhood Association will be bringing back its Mother of All Garage Sales, or MOAGS, event this August, offering used and rare goods at major deals.
The event sees dozens of local homes and small businesses put out their used goods or anything else they are looking to sell on their lawn or driveway. Participating homes are then marked on the map for thrifters, collectors, and other shoppers to visit. The center of the sale is Drew Nielsen Park, which will feature public information, food trucks, and a plant sale.
MOAGS also features a digital touch, with shoppers able to use a QR code to learn about what items are for sale at different houses. Last year’s map included vendors like the Save A Mutt Fundraiser and a tamale stand, in addition to popular garage sales finds like vintage clothes, antique furniture, sporting goods, and collectibles from yesteryear.
Yard Signs will also be used to identify participating houses. Yard sales and other second-hand events often use banner printing and signage to help draw attention from passing drivers. Contributions from sponsors and sellers help to support the Northwest Neighborhood Association, which hosts a native plant garden and also holds community events throughout the year.
The 2026 Mother of All Garage Sales will take place throughout northwest Everett on Saturday, August 1.
