The Port of Everett will be looking to provide its own spin on the spooky season this October with its Haunted Harbor attraction.
The event will see the waterfront transformed into a Halloween attraction. Children in costume can visit docked boats to participate in “Troll or Treat” and receive candy and other treats. Cloaked figures will traverse the marina on kayaks and stand-up paddles as part of the Witches Paddle event. Interested locals can sign up to participate as one of the “witches and warlocks.”
Other attractions will include games and crafts for a family audience. A full schedule of events will be announced in the lead-up to Halloween. Advertising describes the event as “spooky, but not-so-scary,” aimed at a family audience. Halloween events like this often use poster printing and social media to help attract visitors and connect to the community.
This will be the third annual edition of the Haunted Harbor event after its debut in 2024. Last year’s event also featured themed events like the Monster Mash and Bone Appetit designed to promote Waterfront restaurants and businesses, and a special edition of the Float Find scavenger hunt.
The 2026 edition of Haunted Harbor will take place at Pacific Rim Plaza in Everett on Friday, October 23. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, with life jackets available for walking the docks.
