The Schack Art Center in Everett will have its Annual Holiday Art Exhibit over the coming weeks.
The Quilt Art Association has 100 members that practice fiber arts, and the organization encourages collecting of quilt art. Featuring quilt designs from the Association, along with glass, jewelry, ceramics, glass, and wood, there will be crafts classes for adults and children in December too.
The Annual Holiday Art Exhibit called Little/Big has small and large decorative art by the Quilt Art Association, as well as holiday gifts and decorations. There will be small 12 x 12-inch decorative quilted art pieces. The Little/Big Annual Holiday Art Exhibit will run from November 19 to January 3. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Admission is free.
The Schack Art Center will have several art and crafts classes during December for children and adults. Kids Multi Week Art Class will be held in December and January for four sessions for all levels. Children will learn watercolor, pen and ink, Print making, and designing collages.
Adult classes in December are Fused Snowman Cookie Plates, Stamped Metal Jewelry, Weekend Silver Smithing, How to Use Alcohol Inks, Intro to Needle Felting, How to Make A Fused Drop Ring Vase, and Fused Geometric Plant Stakes.
Check the Schack Art Center website for dates and times of classes, for which registration is required. Social distancing is practiced and a limited number of visitors are allowed. Printers design Brochures and provide brochure printing for events and classes like this.
