The Helping Hands nonprofit organization will be holding its Boot Scoot N’ Boogie fundraiser in Everett, bringing together donors for a night of line dancing and celebration.
The Boogie will feature a special guest in line dancer Jennifer Workman, who is a four-time world champion line dancer and captain of the West Coast Country Heat crew. Workman will be leading the line and providing lessons for visitors. This event will also have a gala atmosphere with a provided dinner and dessert, as well as liquid refreshments throughout the night.
In addition to line dancing, visitors can take part in games, raffles, and a balloon pop. Raffle prizes include an amethyst ring and a VIP ticket package to a Spokane Chiefs game. There will be a prize for the best costume, inspired by a country and Western theme, with cowboy and cowgirl duds suggested.
Funds raised through the event will go towards the Helping Hands Project, which aims to provide services and support to marginalized communities within the Pacific Northwest. Fundraisers like this often use methods such as brochure printing and on-stage presentations to provide greater information on the cause being supported. Those who cannot make the dance night can still help by donating to the cause online.
The 2025 Boot Scoot N’ Boogie event will take place in Everett at the Normanna Lodge on the evening of Saturday, November 1.
