Festival to showcase area artists

Next month, fun seekers should make room on their Calendars for the Marysville Street Festival.

The theme of the festival is "handmade and homegrown" and it is set to feature over 100 vendors. They will be selling a variety of handmade arts and crafts, as well as local produce from area farms or producers. Visitors should be able to buy a selection of items such as jewelry, clothing, and home decor as well as fresh fruits, meats, and vegetables. Food and drink will also be available for purchase.

Musical entertainment will be provided by several local artists, and there will be a book signing by Brian Larson, along with community information booths and children's activities. The last day, Sunday, will be kids’ day, with lots of family-friendly goings-on for them to take part in.

It is likely that the vendors who are participating in this year's festival will come from all over the area, including some from Everett. To make their booths more attractive to those attending the festival, many of them may invest in sign or banner printing services.

The Marysville Street Festival will be held from August 7 to 9 at 3rd Street and State Avenue East. For more information about this popular annual event, contact the Downtown Marysville Merchants Association at 360-657-5005, or visit the event’s Facebook page.
