‘Sorticulture’ is taking place for three days this June in Everett.
This garden arts festival will give people ideas on how to decorate or design their gardens for the summer, as well as an opportunity to learn some tips and tricks from professional gardeners. There will be information from landscape designers, wood carving demonstrations, and display gardens.
Vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of garden accessories, tools, and art, especially for the garden. Specialty nurseries will also be selling plants and flowers. Gardener Ciscoe Morris will be giving a talk and various community groups, such as Parks and Recreation, are set to hand out information about their programs and services.
In addition, there will be live music from groups like the Gary Evans Collective, a wine garden, food vendors, and pet adoptions. Children's activities are expected to include playhouses, pot painting, and flower planting. There will also be several mosaic workshops taking place with prices ranging from $3 to $30.
Everett Stationery printers may be providing products such as Flyers to be distributed in the area to encourage more people to attend.
Sorticulture will be held at Legion Memorial Park from June 12 to 14, beginning at 10:00 am each day. Admission is free. To find out more about the day's events, contact Lisa Newland at 425-257-8729.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Stationery
