An April Fools’ Day prank exploded into a successful career for Joe Dombrowski, also known as Mr. D. He is bringing his comedy to Everett next month.
In 2017, Mr. D. performed a prank that led to several appearances for him on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Since that time, he has traveled across the world performing “Indoor Recess,” which brings to light the comedy involved with his life as a teacher in elementary school.
Dombrowski works on creating stages and screens when not performing in his comedy tour. He produces a podcast, “Social Studies,” where he talks about the art of being social with a diverse group of people from various walks of life.

The Joe “Mr. D” Dombrowski show will take place at the Historic Everett Theatre this Friday, May 6 at 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $22 for general admission, $25 for reserved and $30 for Prime. Attendees must be at least 18 years of age.
