Everett schedules first inaugural Energy Block Party

The Snohomish County Public Utility District (PUD) No. 1 serves the residents of Everett and the surrounding areas, and it will soon be holding its first ever Energy Block Party.

The PUD has made arrangements to host a celebration that will be all about energy, electricity, and the role it plays in people’s lives. The whole family is welcome to join the fun, and it has a scheduled run time of three hours.

The individuals and families who attend the festivities will be offered an opportunity to learn more about electric vehicles of all sorts at its car show, and this will be accompanied by a line truck demonstration so everyone can learn what line workers do and discover the equipment they use to install and maintain power transmission lines. There will also be booths and displays set up for the public to view, and the hope is they will walk away with a better understanding of electricity and how to conserve it.

A community celebration may be a good fit for the services supplied by a banner printing company. It can design custom decor in a wide selection of styles, some of which may be used over and over.

The inaugural Snohomish PUD Energy Block Party will open its gates at 11:00 am on April 22. The fun can be found at 2320 California Street.
